The Behind-the-Scenes (BTS) Of New In

We’ve already talked a lot about the elaborate design of our product, today we’re going to lead you to the backstage of our new in shoes.

After our designers have researched the market and finished the design, we send the drawings to the factory. The drawing will be engaged by masters who has more than 10 years of experience in this industry to further refine all kinds of data, and then manually modify the shoe last. After the first trial production, we will carefully check the matching degree of the object and the design draft, and try it on to see if it is comfortable to wear and convenient to walk, and modify it again. After all the above steps are completed, the design of a pair of shoes is finally finalized and ready to go into production.

We all know that when you browse a shopping website, the first thing you see is the picture of a product. UP2STEP has a professional photographic team coming with the high quality of their work. That's what we end up showing on the site as true as pictures.

UP2STEP have a product prep process for shoots and let the products have a consistent appearance, so that our customers shouldn’t have to wonder which is the more accurate representation of the product. We communicate to our photography team to have a general vision by creating a shotlist. This is the key to our business-always be prepared.

Creating a shotlist allows us to describe the much more specific it can be. We will place to list out our preferences on colors, lighting, depth of field adjustments, or different angles.

Environment: Backdrop

Backdrop Color: White Color

Camera: Canon

Lighting: Soft/ Natural Light

Angle: Front/Side/45°/Back

Before the camera starts clicking: we’ll give our items a quick once-over with a lint roller to collect any stray threads. hairs. or dust particles, to make sure to prep all the products to the best state possible. Also, a well-prepared shoot means less work for our image editors. Even though Photoshop can fix all errors made during the shoot, we hope to show the most original state of shoes, with the most realistic pictures to impress our customers like you.

During the whole shooting, we chose to use tried-and-true lighting techniques. A lightbox are placed from the top, and each side is equipped with a reflector. This will make our background looks nice and light and virtually eliminate shadows.

When it comes to angles for shoe photography, more is more. The main angles to focus on are directly head-on, side, and one quarter, we rotate the shoe completely to make sure our beloved customers can see the details as clear as possible. In order for our customers to have a better understanding of the try-on effect, model try-on pictures are well-planned. We want these photos to take our customers to a shopping adventure, and provide a valuable source of information, offer our customers a realistic, personalized product presentation in seconds.

Now is the time for our image editors' job, but actually, with all these hard-working, the most thing we need to do is making sure that the monitor has been calibrated, correcting lighting and color, fixing the white balance in post-production. So that we can export the files correctly and make sure it's closest to what it looks like in reality.

After reading so much, you might wonder, will these sample shoes be sold into the market? Don’t worry the answer is definitely NO. These shoes will back to our factory, they won't see the light until the sample sale for our employees. You will always be the first one to try your shoes on.

Happy purchasing.
